Over the years I have been asked many times where I get my music from. The short answer is

I get music from many different sources.

Different sources such as iTunes, BPM Supreme, DJ City, Traxsource, Beatport, Amoeba Music, local record shops, etc is where I get music from.

I think it’s important to support artists by buying their music from these different outlets.

Digital tracks usually run between $0.69 to $2.99 a song.

It’s magical the way I come across music. Sometimes the perfect song seems to fall right into my lap at the moment I need it.

A lot of times when I come across new music I’ll “Shazam” it with the Shazam App on my phone so I can get the song later.

Another way I get new music is by following dancers on social media. They always showcase their dance routines to the latest tracks. Them dancing to the song already proves to me the song’s danceability, and that’s what I’m mostly looking for in a track.

I also tend to go down the Youtube worm-whole of music videos where I’ve discovered new songs and artists I’ve never heard of. There is a ton of untapped music on Youtube that you can find by just doing a little research.
